TRAILER FOR “CANCELLED” RELEASED, WORLD PREMIERE SCREENINGS ANNOUNCED

Antisemitism in Australia's arts sector is put under the microscope as four Jewish creatives navigate a post-October 7 world in feature documentary CANCELLED, launching the 2026 Jewish International Film Festival program at event screenings in Sydney on September 16 and in Melbourne on September 17.

Director Danny Ben-Moshe follows musician Deborah Conway, visual artist Nina Sanadze, writer Joshua Dabelstein and circus artist Talia Sofizade as they navigate a rapidly shifting environment in which their cultural spaces no longer offer safety.

Capturing their resilience and creative practices in real time, CANCELLED forges an intimate portrait of a community and offers a wider reflection on the proliferation of antisemitism in the arts sector, exposing its implications on cultural life, freedom of expression and social cohesion.

CANCELLED is the only feature film in Australia to document and give voice to this subject. Further screening dates will be released in mid-September.
